Very far from Paris

Very far from Paris

There was something about this scene that grabbed my attention and prompted me to take a picture. I can't really put my finger on what it was but there's something going on here with the shapes, patterns and colors that I find appealing.

Looking at the result I come to think of Paris or some other part of southern Europe. Well it's not. It's a mansion at Rottneros Bruk in Sunne in Sweden (the small town where the Swedish Nobel Prize winner in litterature Selma Lagerlöf lived. This building and the estate it belongs to was not hers though.
