@ all: thank you for comments :)@ Dirk Hofmann: Actually I've never thought about it. You have a very interesting point of view. To my mind St. Petersburg is not cold at all. People here are friendly and even buildings seem to greet you :)

a very interesting effect here: the left side is "warm" from the sunlight and the right side is some kind of cold ...is this the way we should see st. petersburg?
