over the hill is where I live ... I shot this about 2 weeks ago driving home - stopped briefly and took two shots through the windshield ...

da wohnst Du ja in einer wunderschönen grünen Oase. Bei dem vielen Grün fällt der lebhafte Verkehr nicht ins Gewicht. Die Kastanienbäume sind ja mächtig.

oh, so green! and the huge ancient (amazing, those gnarled, intertwined trunks!!) chestnut trees in full opulent springtime bloom! can only repeat myself here ; ): a beautiful place to live and thrive, adele! the streaks of light on the road and the dark silhouettes of the people passing under the trees make the image for me – apart from the trees, of course ; )! hugs, sabine. p.s.: i like the mischievous detail of the "ADO" annexation of the car on the left! ; ))

Great to see tree lined streets .... this could be a scene from Berlin as we also have lots of chestnut trees in our area ... tis also has a peaceful feel about it . must be due to so much green :-)

Welch wundervolle Kastanien - prächtig sehen sie aus in dieser stattlichen Größe mit all ihren Blütenkerzen!
Wir haben hier immer wieder Kastanien, die absterben - sie werden im Laufe des Sommers ganz braun und das Laub sieht aus, wie im Spätherbst - es ist dann ein echter Jammer...
