Mother and daughter at the Elephant Cave
Ni Ketut Mukra and her daughter Ni Komang Mayasanti are presenting themselves in front of the Elephant Cave in Goa Gajah.
The entrance to the Elephant Cave depicts a giant menacing face whose wide open mouth forms the doorway. While there are various animal and forest motifs depicted by carvings on the outer rock face, the giant face of the doorway is considered to be that of an elephant.
Goa Gajah is carved into a rock face and we entered through the cavernous mouth of the demon. Inside the T-shaped cave we could see fragmentary remains of the lingam, the phallic symbol of the Hindu god Shiva.

Wenn ich zwischen dem steinernen Gesicht über dem Eingang und dem Gesicht der Tochter wählen dürfte - keine Frage :-)))))Ein hübsches Foto, das wird den beiden bestimmt auch gefallen. Man sieht ihr seid in Bali herzlich willkommen.
