Lord Buddha on the mountaintop

We could see Luang Pho To from far because of its large sitting Buddha image on the the mountaintop. The statue is about 15 metres tall. It’s made of brick and lime. The story says, it was built in the year 1989. Wat Phra That Chom Tong is also known as Wat Chom Tong.It is famous for having a part of Lord Buddha’s relics. The relics is very holy and had been being respected by villagers all long.
Beside of the relics, we also paid respect to the statue of Luang Pho To, the biggest one in Mae Hong Son district.
