this beautiful mansion is located in the toscolano valley near maderno, lombardy (italy). it used to be home to the maffizzoli family. the family was very successful in the paper business. they owned a number of paper mills in the so-called valle delle cartiere near toscolano-maderno, a small town on the lago di garda. today the building is abandoned and shows considerable signs of decay.

    ja, vielen dank! das war auch ein glückstag. oft hat ja der toscolano im frühjahr soviel wasser, dass man garnicht auf diesen teil der uferböschung kommt.
