The castle of Vianden (Luxembourg), high above the old city and the river Our, built 11th - 14th century on the remnants of a Roman castellum, is now a mediaeval monument of importance. Restorations found place after 1977. This is the 20th upload in my series of 23 Rural Castles in France, Germany, UK and Luxembourg.
