Up to the Tövkhön Monastery

Tövkhön Monastery is situated on the border of Ovorkhangai Province and Arkhangai Province in central Mongolia. It is on a rocky mountain hill enclosed by dense forests at an altitude of 2000m above sea level.
We climed up to the monastery where local people and the monks staying in the ger (yurt).
Several monks now reside and practice at the monastery full-time.

The photo was captured with the iPhone 6s Plus because I left my camera equipment down in the car at the starting point.
