Bebek bengil,
crispy duck, served with rice and vegetables is a popular local dish served in warungs the local restaurants on the island of Bali.
The guests are eating only with the fingers of the right hand, sometimes necessary an help with a spoon holding with the left hand.
The bowls with water and a piece of a lime is served to wash the fingers during the meal.
Only western foreign tourists use knives and forks or (totally abnormal and horrible) chopsticks for eating a Balinese food.

Ich habe in Bali auch immer mit den Fingern gegessen, auch auf vielen anderen Reisen in Indien, Nepal usw. Ich denke dass die Mehrheit der Menschen auf der Erde mit den Fingern isst und ich finde das sehr praktisch.
Bei deinem Foto kriege ich gleich Appetit, vermisse allerdings eins, ein kühles Bier :-)))

  Auf der Wiesn essen auch die Deutschen ihr Händl mit den Fingern, oder bald mit Stäbchen? Je nach dem Einfluss der Chinesen?
  Das Bier wird mitserviert, ein Bintang Radler oder Bintang draft beer. Oftmals finde ich aber auch ein Paulaner, Gruß Wolfgang
