Bangli is a regency on Bali which offers the typical daily life. Up till 1907, Bangli was one of the nine kingdoms of Bali. The capital has famous Hindu temples, where celebrations are hold nearly every day.
The roads are decorated with a lot of penjors, long tapered bamboo pole that is stood vertically in the ground and decorated in coconut leaves.
Due to their length of sometimes more than ten metres, they droop charmingly over the pavement like an ancient street lamp.
