far away two sailboats in front of us on Navy Channel as we sail to our next destination ...

NOT EDITED - this is really a poorly photographed image due to my very long lens and the movement of the boats and the movement of our own sailboat .. a challenge always to balance yourself while focussing and photographing with one hand :-))

Jedenfalls bringt das Foto Bewegung ins Bild, wie man so sagt. Und schon deshalb finde ich es ganz hervorragend.

Trying to use manual on everything for shots like this used to drive me crazy. Now I just set it on automatic, but sometimes on manual focus to get the range and then just shoot a few shots hoping to get one that has what I want. It does look like a lot of fun!

: ))) kind of soothing to know that the red of the life vest will be clearly visible at all times, even if a storm, a haze, an impertinent seagull has impaired the vision of a potential rescuer… ; )) the watery blur… it does look like an effect or tool used in "post production"! love the blue tone-on-tone quality and the dreamy feel! hugs, sabine.
