on our way to the Margaret Falls near Salmon Arm and the Shuswap in Herald Provincial Park ....
I was not prepared for this amazing sight where the crooked trees seemed to hold up the high cliffs on both sides of the little stream - what a sight, and my camera did overtime ...showing you a second image - and the falls come next ...

Une étonnante haie d'honneur qui semble protéger le frêle ruisseau déjà bien gardé par les rochers qui l'encadrent. Un somptueux travail de l'érosion: il ne s'agit pas de mort, juste de transformation. Et de notre imagination. Enchanteur

Kaum zu glauben, dass diese Bäume nicht entwurzelt werde und sich noch in dieser Schieflage Halt finden. Das erinnert mich an den großen Sturm Ela Pfingsten 2014, der hier so viele Bäume entwurzelt hat.

  merci, Anne-Marie... J’ai essayé de savoir ce qui s’est passé avec ces arbres - peut-être qu’il y a eu une tempête il y a longtemps

Les sinistres de la nature peuvent parfois créer des choses surprenantes telles cet enchevêtrement de troncs qui produit un effet graphique et esthétique et une saisissante profondeur d'image en 3 D car on a l'impression de pouvoir passer le doigt sous un de ces troncs .

Die Bäume scheinen sich mit letzter Kraft noch zu halten...
einige sind schon entwurzelt...es ist beeindruckend.
