The Dome
Inside The Painted Hall in the University of Greenwich, formerly The Royal Naval College.
The Dome was designed and built by Sir Christopher Wren and was the prototype model for the Full Sized Dome in St Pauls Cathedral. He did not have planning permission, but built it anyway. The work began in 1696 and the College was completed in 1733.
