Mount Faito is a mountain that is part of the mountain range of the Lattari mountains: it has access both from Castellammare di Stabia and from Vico Equense and can also be reached by the homonymous cable car from the Castellammare di Stabia station.
The cable car connects the city of Castellammare di Stabia (6 m above sea level) with the station of Mount Faito (1131 m above sea level) in just 8 minutes.
In this place you can enjoy in summer the beauty of the sea and the coolness of this beautiful mountain full of vegetation and spectacular views ranging from the imposing Gulf of Naples to the gentle mountain ranges of the Sorrento peninsula and Capri. The highest point of Monte Faito reaches 1444 m).
There are beautiful beech, conifer and chestnut woods.
