Strokkur Geysir eruption

Geysir is the oldest known geyser and one of the world’s most impressive examples of the phenomenon. Eruptions at Geysir can hurl boiling water up to 60 metres in the air. However, eruptions may be infrequent, and have in the past stopped altogether for years at a time.
Strokkur (Icelandic language for "churn") is a geyser located in a geothermal area beside the Hvítá River in Iceland in the southwest part of the country, east of Reykjavík. It typically erupts every 6-10 minutes.[2] Its usual height is 15-20 metres, although it can sometimes erupt up to 40 metres high
