Spring Crocus
Together with the witch-hazel, the lenten rose and the snowdrop, the crocus is one of the first well known flowers to bloom late winter.
Spring crocus grows wild in alpine meadows of the Alps, the Pyrenees and the Balkans.
Dutch name : Bonte krokus
German name : Frühlings-Krokus (auch Frühlings-Safran genannt)
Latin name : Crocus vernus albiflorus
