Slow-Worms!!
A cluster of Slow-Worms in my woods. They're legless-lizards, not snakes - and they do a wonderful job eating slugs!

…and so many of them!! and all reddish brown or beige – that's amazing. haven't seen one since my childhood. remember them gray, though… wish i had some in my backyard now to chase the orange slugs out of town ; ))… kind regards, sabine.
