a city with over 1 Mill inhabitants, ancient and modern living side by side, the largest harbour in Turkey, many tourists ..... and we had only time to walk around the old Kaleici area and- all my pictures are from there .....

antalya… one of the most visited cities in the world. definitely not a place where time is standing still! ; ) at least no more than it's standing still in the orbit of all time-aged historical sites all over the world. the port of hamburg, for example, was founded in 1189 and yet, as i dare say, it's not a place of stagnation despite the historical landmarks… ; )) love the composition here, the invisible line that can be drawn between the flag and the tip of the yivli minaret! it makes for a great three-dimensional effect! hugs, sabine.
