  Absolutely no wolves.
  I think the last wolf in England was killed in the 17th century.

  That was my favourite image from the walk, because it has the sheep in its own landscape.
  By the way - this path - along the side of the valley - is part of the long-distance, 200 mile, "Coast to coast" footpath - which goes from the west coast (Saint Bees - the westernmost point of Cumbria) - to Robin Hood's bay in Yorkshire on the east coast. It goes through three of England's national parks - (the lake district, the Yorkshire dales, and the North York moors).
