Once a Corner Grocery Store (12)

now somebody's house
in Strathcona on the edge of Cinatown

before supermarkets Vancouver had many, many little corner grocery stores in every neighbourhood (the entrance door being on the corner) .... some still remain, but many have been converted to other stores, cafes, art galleries and living quarters - I love them as they take away from the impersonality of the big stores...

Mit Katze, Bank und viel Grün wirkt das alles sehr malerisch und idyllisch!!! Ich mag auch hier diese intensiven Farben!

Deine diesbezügliche Sammlung ist ja sehr umfangreich wie ich bemerke. Das Haus mit der schwarzen Katze, die Einlaß begehrt und überhaupt die ganze Szenerie strahlt einen ganz besonderen Charme aus.
