On the Road Again
taken through the windshield in a tight curve and zooming to get a closer look at what is about to come :-)))
Highway 1 - criss-crossing the Baja Peninsula from coast to coast is the only road that takes one from Tijuana to Cabo San Lucas. Its about 2000 km length has mostly stretches like this one going through mountains, desert, flat stretches and having two lanes, no shoulder, few places to stop, little traffic but often big trucks .... and sometimes motorcycles or a bicycle (?) riding down the narrow lanes - our nerves were tested, especially knowing that we had to come back back on that same road :-)))

Nice place to drive when traffic is not big. Very beautiful almost flat landscape.So looks good Norwegian roads :-)

curves and serpentines – that's what's coming! "as the crow flies" is for crows only… ; ) another impressive capture, adele! the thing about the trucks is what would scare me most! last week something incredible happened on a german expressway: a truck driver passed out behind the wheel and drove another 10 k (!!!!!) unconscious – scraping the guardrail a couple of times – until his truck finally – miraculously! – came to a halt at a rest stop. nobody was hurt!! the unconscious truck driver was taken to a hospital… hugs, sabine.http://www.ksta.de/panorama/10-kilometer-autobahn-lkw-fahrer-bewusstlos-hinterm-steuer,15189504,22162752.html
