This is a pipe cleaner dog figure we rescued from a box of junk at flea market . I took this shot late in the afternoon with light from a west window.

    Thanks, Sarah. I like the idea of the wired hair terrier...very good. You're right about the mirror being dusty...it was. But since that's the way it was, I left it like that. If it was dust on the lens or something, I would clone it out.

    this is cute! funny, too. this isn't something i'd expect anyone to care much about how the photo came out, but you did—the technicals all look terrific (window's a little spotty, but who's counting...ha ha)! what a great surprise. some sort of wire-haired terrier, i think, but don't hold me to that... :)
