M42 and the running man

M42, the great Orion-Nebula can be seen quite easy with small binoculars. NGC 1977 on the left, also called the "Running-Man Nebula" is not so easy to detect with a small instrument since it's much fainter than M42.

However, both objects are quite easy to capture with a camera. The Orion-Nebula is possibly one of the most photographed "Deep-Sky"-Objects.

I think it's not only because of its size and brightness which makes it easy to capture - but also because it's simply one of the most beautiful Nebula.
