I was once advised by a top photographer to get in close, and when you think you are close enough, go closer. Try cropping to see what I mean.

nice pic but some sort of strange position of the neck. Maybe the crop is not good or I don´t know what but the pose is somehow disturbing me, skip

The golden lighting, and the the model are quite beautiful. I can't help but feel like the expression just barely missed. It doesn't quite have the natural and relaxed feel that I like to see in 'great' portraits. It is still quite nice and you should both be proud.
