Hoi An
This picture was taken after a big storm last year (10/2006). The town was float for three days, there're a lot of damages but no death's reported.

...great reportage pic from after the storm- in my time i have been to hoi an it was very dry and hot, but the lokals tolled me that nearly every year the town get's flooded after heavy monsoonstorms......best wishes, martin

Loan, you did take a very good documentary photograph of the flooding of Hoi An in 2006.I could experience the same there one year earlier.
The people of Hoi An quickly adjusted to the situation and some turned it into a business by providing boats for inhabitants and tourists alike :-))).

@ Christel: i made this pic out of a boat but me legs were in the water. the town's in the water for 3 days. my home is in HoChiMinh city, far and far away from this town... so it was safe. but i was stuck there for 3 days without money because there's no electricity for almost 2 days and ATM didn't work ;( That was a remarkable memory.tkx nice question.

I hope you made the pic out of a boat.Was your own home affected and how long did it last untill the water was gone?
I had an expierence with flooding in 2002 for some days and 10.000 people were evacuated.
