Neben den vielen eindrucksvollen Tieren wie Löwen, Giraffen, Zebras und Elefanten gibt es im Etosha Nationalpark auch einige wunderschöne Vogelarten zu beobachten. Ein besonders farbenprächtiges Exemplar ist die Gabelracke [Coracias caudatus], welche hier im richtigen Moment für einen kurzen Moment auf einem Ast in unserer Nähe verweilte, so dass ich dieses Foto machen konnte. Ein wirklich schöner Vogel wie ich finde.
Beside the many impressive animals like lions, giraffes, zebras and elephants there are also some beautiful birds to observe in Etosha National Park. A particularly colourful specimen is the "Lilac-breasted roller" [Coracias caudatus], which stayed here for a short moment on a branch near us, so that I could take this photo. A really beautiful bird as I think.

Der lilac breasted roller, ein farbenprächtiger und fasziniernder Vogel dem man recht häufig im südlichen Afrika begegnet.Du hast ein fantastisches Portrait von ihm gemacht.
Vor vielen Jahren habe ich auch mal einen hier in der fc gezeigt.
