Cloyne ist ein kleines Städtchen, südöstlich von Midleton im County Cork im Süden von Irland. Cloyne hat gerade mal knapp über 1500 Einwohner und ist namensgebend für das Bistum Cloyne. Einer der bekannteststen Bischöfe in Cloyne war George Berkeley (1685–1753), nach welchem die University of California benannt ist.
