The intersection of 7th Avenue and W 33rd Street, at Penn Plaza,
would seem to be vying for the title of "Times Square South."

Huge signs for movies will, of course, come and go, but the proud form of the Empire State Building
with its lighted upper stories and spire, just a few blocks to the east, is a "Star" of the eternal variety.
