Urlaub 2017 in Portugal ...
Als wir die Stufen eine Gasse hinauf gingen, waren links und rechts die Fenster der meisten Anwohner offen. Und das nutze wohl eine Möwe, um auf sich aufmerksam zu machen und vielleicht ein paar Krümel abzugreifen. Aber der Mann las gemütlich seine Zeitung und die Frau machte irgendwas in der Küche. Pech gehabt, kleine Möwe, das nächste Mal vielleicht ...

As we walked up the steps of an alleyway, most of the residents' windows were open to the left and right. And a seagull was probably taking advantage of this to draw attention to itself and perhaps pick up a few crumbs. But the man was comfortably reading his newspaper and the woman was doing something in the kitchen. Tough luck, little seagull, maybe next time ...
