    Im Vordergrund noch die North American P-51 Mustang.
    Die Mustang war zwar eine amerikanische Entwicklung, aber erst als der britische Rolls-Royce Merlin-Motor eingebaut wurde entwickelte sich das Flugzeuge letztlich zum wohl besten Jäger des 2. Weltkrieges.
