Es wehte der fuer nachmittags übliche Südwest Wind - nur etwas stärker als sonst und wirbelte den Sand auf. Diese Aufnahme ist von der Seite und gegen die untergehende Sonne, wenn man aber von vorne also direkt in die Richtung des Windes schaut hat man das Gefühl die Duenen kommen Einem entgegen.

The afternoon southwest wind was blowing a little stronger than usual . This shot was taken from the side and into the setting sun. If, however, one viewed the scene facing the wind one had the distinct feeling that the dunes were moving towards one.
