Sa Pa is a frontier township and capital of Sa Pa District in Lào Cai Provinc. It is one of the main market towns in the area, where several ethnic minority groups such as Black Hmong, Yao (also called Dao), Giáy, Pho Lu, and Tay live.
My photo shows the main place in the center of the town and its Catholic church, built in stone in 1930.
