Die Obelix Schnecke

Ich bekomme einfach nicht die richtige, knackige Schärfe hin.
Helft mir Woran liegt es.
Folgendes habe ich getan ( Kameradaten stehen extra )
Becken mit Wasser genommen
Einen Haken an eine Schnur gebunden und ihn dort im Becken
platziert wo das leere Schneckenhaus aufkommen soll.
Dann habe ich auf den Haken autom. fokussiert.
Ich habe es aber auch mal mit manuell nachfokussieren getestet. Sieht auch nicht besser aus.
Natürlich habe ich ne Weile gebraucht bis ich den richtigen Zeitpunkt gefunden habe.
Ein entfesselter Blitz von oben und einer von schräg vorn.
Oder gehts einfach nicht besser mit dem Objektiv. 60mm Macro f2.8
Bitte gebt mir ein paar Tipps

Hi Melody,

Here are some tips:

1. All lenses have a sweet spot as far as sharpness is concerned. You will have to find it on your lens.

2. The slower the aperture (eg f/32) the greater the depth of field not the sharper the image. Generally you start losing sharpness at one point. Meaning that f/8 can be sharper than f/32.

There are intelligent articles on the web that can tell you why, I can just tell you it's so.

PS Don't use the time to freeze it. Use the flash. Here's a very crude example of what I mean.

. Setup camera.
. Pre-focus where the object will drop.
. Set the camera to 30 seconds.
. Switch off all the lights. (You need total darkness especially if you're at f/8 as opposed to f/32)
. Click the shutter button. (now it's open for 30 seconds)
. Drop the object and trigger the flash at whichever point you want to freeze.

Even though you might need to do a few tries. The time that flash spends lighting up the object will generally be a lot quicker than your camera's max sync speed and will really help you freeze the droplets etc...

Hallo Melody,
ich finde Deine Idee und das resultieren Foto trotz Deiner Unzufriedenheit mit der Schärfe klasse. Du bekommst bestimmt hierzu noch Hilfe, und dann wird es klappen!

Ahoi. Also das Glas ist echt bolzgerade. Zumindest sehe ich keinerlei Wölbung =(

Ich vermute, dass das Glas des Beckens der schlechteste optische Teil der Serie ist und die Schärfe reduziert. Ev. ist es gewölbt? Dann ein gerades "Aquarium" benutzen.
