Waterloo is the UK's largest station, covering an area of 24.5 acres. One of its most notable features is the Victory Arch, built of Portland Stone. This commemorates the London and South Western and the Southern Railway men who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars.

Geknipst auf meiner Fahrt mit der U-Bahn im Londoner Underground mit der Piccadilly- und Jubilee-Line zu Tower Bridge und Tower of London.....trifft man dort Massen von Menschen aus aller Herrenländer, alle Rassen und Hautfarben im zentralen Schmelztiegel Europas, der Metropole London. In Schwarz-Weiß, da sich sonst dieses rote McD-Schild rechts rotzfrech in den Vordergrund drängt :-))) Im Vordergrund steht das Dach und die Menschenmasse.
