In this photo of Goereme, a part of Cappadocia, one can have a first idea of the peculiar geological formations that in the deeper part of the region they shall raise to form the famous chimney rocks caracterizing Cappadocia.

Nature and the elements do combine to form some wierd and wonderful places on this earth, and this is one of them...... and all of those tiny buildings set amongst this very rocky area... amazing.:))
