Borderline to Guantánamo
The province Guantánamo is one of the most dreamlike parts of Cuba and important to visit for every tourist. Guantánamo was the part of the island where Christoph Columbus landed America more than 500 years ago.
Guantánamo is a province on Cuba, its very clean main town is called Guantánamo too.
However the US enclave Guantánamo has become a detestable image worldwide due the detention camp for unlawful locked up enemies.
The occupation of the US part Guantánamo is illegal since 2002 due the lease from 1903 between Cuba and USA valid for 99 years only.

Mit diesem Chevrolet fuhren wir von Santiago de Cuba nach Baracoa, unserem östlichsten Reisziel auf Kuba. Die anschließende Fahrt auf der Passstraße "La Farola" war atemberaubend und sollte auf dem Programm eines jeden Kubabesuchers stehen. Gruß WolfgangBenita Sittner 25/12/2014 21:37
....bin mal gespannt wie es dort weitergeht unter all den neuen Zukunftsaussichten....schönes Auto jedenfalls und die Provinz ist sicherlich einen Besuch wert...auch wenn man an das was die Welt von dort kennt nicht herankommt.....VLG Benita
