Bagan long time ago
When I came my first time to Bagan in 1981, I was one of ten or twenty tourists running around. The tendency way amazing but the stay in Burma limited for 7 days only. To short for a intensiv trip in Burma.
My picture shows the Irrawaddy River at the background.
This photo was captured during my honeymoon in February 1981 and scanned with my NIKON CoolScan V ED.
It makes me fun to select and scann old photos, this reminds me old memories I made during an amazing trip.

Genau so kenne ich das auch noch. Ganz, ganz anders. 60 % der heute dort existierenden Pagoden und Tempel sind nicht alt sondern erst in den letzten 15 Jahren errichtet worden, aus Beton und mit alten Ziegeln überdeckt. Das ist der Grund warum die Unesco bis 2019 gezögert hat Pagan als Weltkulturerbe anzuerkennen. ich staune immer wenn ich neuere Bilder von Pagan sehe und habe mich manchmal gefragt wo ich denn damals war :-))))Schon damals warst du ein guter Fotograf.
