The sun was so bright last weekend and my eye was caught by this leaf being illuminated.

A lovely shot into the contra light ... all the veins and fine edges are so beautifully illuminated and set out, and the nuances of colour are so pretty !!!

what a beautiful reddish orange! you must have been tempted to pick the leaf and press it between the pages of a book, but that would have been spoiling the luminous spectacle autumn put on especially for you… ; )) i bet today the leaf is already gone with the wind or rotting happily away somewhere on the ground… good you eternalized it in its transitory heyday! hugs, sabine. p.s.: the finger shape is very pretty, too!
