A View of Ålesund

Ålesund is a town in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The town is the administrative centre of Ålesund Municipality. The centre of the town lies on the islands of Hessa, Aspøya, Nørvøya. It has a population (2018) of 52,626.

as we make our way north along the coast of Norway we visit the beautiful town of Ålesund with its art nouveau architecture and charming harbour scenes ..

Une vue d'en-haut qui montre les maisons parfois colorées et les toits gris clair de cette ville, où émergent deux monuments environnés d'arbres, l'église et un grand ensemble jaune à clocheton avec bulbe : une vision de très grande qualité, d'une haute précision, la définition et le relief sont remarquables, et le cadrage TOP! A good perspective, for sure. The colors and the sharpness are excellent. But unfortunately you cut the lower edges of the houses in the foreground. I confirm that a cut have to be somewhere but perhaps there would be another cutting line possible. From my point of view this picture looks a little bit incomplete because of this.

  thank you, unfortunately I could not get any more into the picture as the vision of the bottom of those houses was covered by something else in the foreground .... I did not crop or cut this picture - "out of the box".

  Danke, Anne-Marie ... ich glaube, dass es Schiefer ist, der oft als Dachbedeckung in norwegischen Haeusern benutzt wird .... er sieht aber ganz anders aus als der, den ich von den Haeusern im Sauerland (Deutschland) kenne.
