A Place Called Shoal Bay

not much is left of the thriving community of Shoal Bay on East Thurlow Island that was here years ago - except one house and several outbuildingsand remains of the old goldmine .... but you can get a great meal there and meet some interesting people, and we anchored here after the big fog and explored the site the next morning.
this shows the view one has from the house/restaurant onto the mountains and waterways across from the bay.

Well, maybe the old goldmine doesn't exist but the place remains the same beautiful and very welcoming with this scenery.The mountains all around are fantastic!best results alexander
