I has since 1980 builded an extensive collection of images of butterflies. My photos has been published in a reference book on Danish butterflies as well as on international exhibitions and scientiffic publications on butterflies
Equipment. All the photos on my website http://imaginebutterflies.dk/
are made with 24X36 CONTAX SLR. I use exclusively Lenses from Carl Zeiss, because of their unique optical quality.
Flash. Because of the often critical depth of field, it can be necessary to use artificial lightning, and from time to time, I use a small hand held flash, which provides me with the necessary flexibility to control the lightning around the animal .
Slide film or diapositive film is my preferred media.
For Close up Photography I prefer Kodachrome200.
Scanning of the slides is accomplished by applying Silverfast Scanning Software, which gives great control and predictable results
