The little-used narrow road back to Torphichen wound in curves, up around a small hill and down again. The trees along the way provided cooling shade. A postbus was parked in a curve in front of a beautiful house made of old natural stone. A beautiful sight and the thick stones must have provided good isolation. I hope the busy postman had only good news to deliver. A quick snapshot as the last picture of the day had to be.

Die kaum befahrene schmale Straße zurück nach Torphichen wand sich in Kurven, stieg um einen kleinen Hügel herum an und fiel wieder ab. Die Bäume am Wegesrand spendeten kühlenden Schatten. In einer Kurve parkte ein Postauto vor einem schönen Haus aus alten Natursteinen. Ein schöner Anblick und die dicken Steine boten bestimmt eine gute Isolation. Ich hoffe, der emsige Postmann hatte nur gute Nachrichten zu überbringen. Ein schneller Schnappschuss als letzte Bild des Tages musste sein.
