Girl in a Wetsuit is a life size 1972 bronze sculpture by Elek Imredy of a woman in a wetsuit, located on a rock in the water along the north side of Stanley Park ..
The creation of this sculpture was very controversial because of the similarity to the one in Copenhagen:

Oui, c'est vrai qu'on pense tout de suite à une cousine de "La petite Sirène" de Copenhague....Mais elle est si paisible, si calmement posée sur son gros rocher dans l'eau, qu'on attend avec elle que ses vêtements sèchent au soleil! Une découverte pour moi, cette sculpture de bronze dans ton pays, Adele, merci de nous la montrer en pleine lumière, avec ce beau profil féminin! Bises et grand bravo!
