Under the Bridge of the Americas

Bridge of the Americas
Bridge of the Americas
Adele D. Oliver

The Bridge of the Americas crosses the Pacific approach to the Panama Canal at Balboa, near Panama City. It was built between 1959 and 1962 by the United States at a cost of 20 million U.S. dollars. From its completion in 1962 until the opening of the Centennial Bridge in 2004, the Bridge of the Americas was a key part of the Pan-American Highway.

Since last night I can no longer access my photos in FC.com - they all appear in FC.de .... very frustrating - does anybody have the same problem???

I did have that issue briefly a couple of days ago Adele but it is not doing that now and has gone back to normal thank goodness.
A massive structure under a brooding sky! The achievements of man highlighted perfectly.
    Hugs

wow, this is beautiful! love how the bridge is arching its way in and out of the picture, which would seem like a perfect monochrome, if it weren't for the tiny orange light! and yes, adele!! i had the same problem yesterday morning. typing in ".com" automatically switched one to ".de" and no clicking of other countries possible either. the problem had disappeared for me in the afternoon, though. and since then it's been back to normal again! hugs, sabine.

I find such structures awesome... not only as physical structures but also as message for more humanity... hope it will bring posperity and wellness to that area...
