The Tomb of the Giant
This spot is one of the most beautiful viewpoints of Belgium, with a grand vista overlooking the valley of the river Semois.
A pearl of nature and with all those forests a paradise for me.
The most spectacular item of the field of view is a heavily wooded peninsula, called 'the Tomb of the Giant', formed by a huge meander of the river, with sloping sides as a coffin in which, so tells a legend, a giant is buried.

Das Ergebnis dieses Galerie-Votums ist für mich ein weiterer Grund, nie mehr am deutschen Voting teilzunehmen. Das Bild hätte durchaus meiner Meinung nach einen Galeriestern verdient. Aber stattdessen sind hier wieder mal die Fotobanausen am Werk, die meistens gar keine rechte Ahnung von schönen Fotos haben.Grüße Günter
