The Proud Youth

Installed in March of this year at the Yaletown side of False Creek this giant red sculpture of 2.6 meters is called "The Proud Youth," and was created by Chinese sculptor Chen Wenling. He is looking at his mirror image in a shiny mound.

Eine interessante Bildkomposition
mit der Architektur den kahlen Bäumen
und dieser gebückten Figur in dem krassen rot das sieht wirklich toll aus Adele

Une sculpture toute rouge, un jeune homme tout mince, une tête penchée toute rieuse de se voir dans le miroir déformant du socle chromé! Une oeuvre étonnante! Le rouge éclate dans un univers urbain d'architectures contemporaines blanc-gris sous un ciel de même teinte! Une vision étrange comme un E.T égaré dans un parc de banlieue...Excellente photo insolite! Amitiés et bises Adele, bon week-end! Michèle
