The Tibetan prayer wheel

The prayer wheel, either as a toy miniature held in hand or as a brass cylinder attached on walls, is the epitomy of the Tibetan daily ritual and communication with God. Giving the wheel a spin means helping their prayers to reach the God's attention. Such brass wheels can be seen in a row in streets, especially on the way to Potala.

a well composed image with all the prayer wheels running on a diagonal ... a well timed image with the endearing scene of the old gent supported by his grandson walking towards us - and in the distance a man using the wheel ... intriguing religion !!!
    greetings, Adele
