The Living Forest (411) : Ringlet
The ringlet is a pretty dark brown butterfly with distinctive eye spots on the underwings.
This is one of the rare butterflies that also flies in very overcast weather conditions and it may even risk it during light showers !

German name : Braune Waldvogel
Latin name : Aphantopus hyperantus
