But a Laphroaig Single Malt Whiskey for instance would help the same way and it taste much better.

However, these claims should not all be taken literally as many are likely exaggerated to attract buyers. It is illegal to import snake wine to many countries including the United States because the cobras and other snakes killed in the production are often endangered species.

Häufiger Anblick in China, Vietnam, Laos und auch in Thailand habe ich das schön auf mehreren Märkten gesehen. Außer Schlangen und Skorpionen werden auch gerne Schildkröten in Schnaps eingelegt. In meinem Lieblingsrestaurant in Kunming steht gleich hinter der Eingangstür ein großer Glasbottich mit Schildkröte in Alkohol. Probiert habe ich noch nie, nicht wegen der Tiere, ich trinke außer Bier keinen Alkohol.

  Auch ich trinke keinen Alkohol und so konnte ich mehrmals höflich ablehnen, als mir und meiner Frau bei Einladungen davon angeboten wurde, ohne die Gastfreundschaft zu verletzen. Aber beim Schlangenblut musste ich es (in Laos) einmal annehmen. Nase zuhalten und runter damit und gleich ein Schluck BeerLao drauf. Gruß Wolfgang
