Dear Jos, for a second time,after nearly two years, I comment lingering over this splendid photo of the Sao Bento Central insisting that it is far one of the very best I've come across in the fotocommunity galleries!...Honestly, a fine speciment from any point of view(...and I don;t want to spoil it with these "appreciated by", or "Public favourites", etc...etc nonsense)

A room richly decorated with the classical azulejoses and flood of life.
A beautiful contrast among the austere represented scenes and the crowd that it is waiting for to depart.

Eye-catching study, Jost! So much to explore in the grandeur of this venue, but also the milling throng of visitors/travelers, including the brunette in foreground who seems the only one maintaining eye contact with your camera. A favorite!

This is a really magnificent shot,Jost, definitely among your best, like a scene in a Vatican corridor. Magnificent blend of the two levels, the upper one with the wall designs and the lower with the peolpe and well selected to be edited in b+w. I looked at it for long and, I must confess, I played a bit with the idea of keeping the latter as it is and just coloring the designs in the former as a certain colour key....(Maybe it's only me...frequently fiddling with such things...!). Great shot anyway!

a very busy scene in this most beautifully tiled Porto railway station ...
very fine your black and white conversion with much to see.
I am linking my analog version from a different angle and in colour,
taken in the late 70s (I think) .... so much has changed !!
